Aimpoint ACO is comparable to the PRO but is a little bit less expensive. ACO has shorter battery life but not a problem since you're on a replacement schedule. ACO has more daylight settings than PRO so may give you slightly better adjustability for lighting conditions. ACO has a simpler mount than the PRO. SportOptics had a seriously good deal on ACOs earlier this year but you may have to ...
> Aimpoint Comp ML2 with a 4 MOA dot > Aimpoint T1 with an advertised 4 MOA dot > Aimpoint Comp M4S with a 2 MOA dot > EoTech 551 with the 65 MOA ring/1 MOA dot All shooting for this ballistic exercise was conducted from the bench at a distance of 50 yards using my Lothar-Walther barreled AR-15 and match-grade, hand-loaded ammunition.
Exactly this. If the aimpoint window was bigger it would have more parallax as well. Not saying the mro couldn't be better but it's not apples to apples. I want to like the mro, but my astigmatism prevents that. Its lighter, sleeker, and a larger window than the aimpoint. The aimpoint pro is a hog compared to the mro, but my eyes agree with it ...
I’ve found Aimpoint T2 to be really good and the Aimpoint Pro to be really good and controlling the parallax shift. Comp M5’s are supposed to be really good also. Our H1’s were found to be terrible. This showed up for us as zero shift from range trip to range trip or inability to consistently hit steel at various distances.
Re: Aimpoint Pro vs Comp ML3 Aimpoint Comp ML3 - 50k hours of battery life, you can choose between a 2 MOA or 4 MOA reticle Aimpoint Pro - 30k hours of battery life, 2 MOA reticle only, NVD settings, comes with a QRP2 mount Hope this helps!
Re: aimpoint Comp M4 I have multiple Aimpoints. For general use, I prefer the T-1 Micro due to the smaller size and lower weight. For high-service use where you will be abusing the crap out of the rifle, the M4 is the ideal sight. All Aimpoints are built like tanks, but the M4 is a brick shithouse. Heavy, but indestructible. After the nuclear holocaust, it will be the roaches, Fosters beer ...
I prefer the Aimpoint PRO to the T2. Better viewing from the PRO for me. The only difference between the T2 and H2 is NV settings and submersion rating.
In fact, Aimpoint should do a commercial using that theme. Click to expand... Rock, littered with Aimpoints, PSA AR’s and Vortex optics in boxes headed back for warranty repair
Obtained Aimpoint T 2 Micro with the lowest possible mount to the rail Mounted the Optic Thru the optic I can see the front sight on the rifle With the elevation turned all the way down, the red dot still appears much higher than the front sight on the rifle Cannot lower the dot any further in the optic's viewfinder. Is this Normal? Is there a ...
