The waterfalls are incredibly aswell as seeing the bears at the bear sanctuary. We also swam near the bottom of the waterfall and the water was so fresh. Great day out! Full review by Lachlan R

About 30 minutes by van. I think about one to two hours is enough excluding swimming..

You can get a mini van from Vientiane to Vang Vieng then to Luang Prabang where the falls are. Or You could probably get a sleeper bus or something from Vientiane to Luang …
