It doesn't matter which campground you are in - either way you have to drive down to the parking lot or walk down the steps of the bluff. Each campground has its own set of steps leading to the beach (about 120 of them!). Colborne campground steps lead almost to the dividing point of the dog beach and regular camper's beach. Huron campground steps are a bit further away from the sandy beach, but you reach the dog beach first with this approach, as it is on the south side. Happy camping!
