Cougarwear was established in 2000 by Tracy Hacklin Dennis, a Washington State University-educated mortgage broker and the founder of Anchor Bay Mortgage, with over fifteen years experience in the mortgage industry in the Puget Sound region. Wanting to display her Cougar pride, Tracy searched high and low for many years before realizing it was nearly impossible to find genuine WSU products anywhere in Western Washington or beyond. Taking matters into her own hands, Tracy created Cougarwear with the goal of bringing Pullman Pride to alumni and fans everywhere, utilizing the same principles of excellent service, creativity, and affordable prices that are the hallmarks of her mortgage business. Between Cougarwear’s retail location in downtown Gig Harbor, WA and our new, revamped online store, we make it easy to find something special for every kind of Cougar fan.
