Cenote was decent, but only a quarter not roped off. Note overly crowded and was refreshing. Food was pretty bad, soggy, etc. But the drinks were pretty fairly pricedFull review by Kris B

Honestly, I found it difficult to get out of the water and I’m a strong swimmer. The steps leading down into the water (and where you climb out) were filled with children all wearing life vests and taking up most of the room. The steps are also slippery and as I remember rightly there was also a slippery rope along the side that you could use to Pull yourself up. However..... I wouldn’t let that put you off as it is an amazing Experience. Enjoy if you decide to do it!

Hello there :) My husband and I ( I sound like the Queen!!) are going to Cancun in October with Thomson and are thinking of going on the Chichen Itza tour. We're not sure whether not to go with Thomson or another reputable company like Avitor. I was wondering if you had heard any reports from anyone while you were there about other companies? Also, I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to insects, especially the eight legged variety! So am worried we might have to track through any jungle spaces while on the tour? Or if they were obvious anywhere when you were there. Did you stay in the hotel zone? Did you go out into Cancun and was it safe?? I would appreciate any tips you may have. We are in our early 60's so we won't be clubbing it but we do like to diet our hair down ;) Thank you.
