Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser is out indefinitely after he absorbed a hit to the head from Tanner Jeannot of the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night. Coach Rick Tocchet said he wasn't sure how long Boeser -- Vancouver's leading scorer -- would be out.

VANCOUVER -- Brock Boeser is out indefinitely for the Vancouver Canucks because of an upper-body injury after he hit by Tanner Jeannot midway through the first period of a 4-2 win against the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday.

If Brock Boeser is forced to miss time with an injury, the Vancouver Canucks should call up top prospect Jonathan Lekkerimaki to fill in.
