UNION, Maine (AP) — Police in Maine are investigating the death of a paddleboarder near a campground in rural Maine as a homicide and asking the public for help finding the killer.
UNION (WGME) – It's now been a week since police say a paddleboarder was mysteriously killed in a small town in Maine, and while police are urging calm, the community is on edge. Sunshine Stewart of Tenants Harbor was found dead on Crawford Pond after she had gone out paddleboarding last Wednesday night.
The medical examiner ruled 48-year-old Sunshine Stewart died in a homicide, but her cause of death and further details were not released.
