Fergus Burke, the Saracens fly-half who also qualifies to represent England and New Zealand, has been called up for his first involvement in a Scotland squad ahead of the Six Nations.

Sione Tuipulotu will captain Scotland during the 2025 Six Nations with head coach Gregor Townsend naming his 37-man squad for the tournament. Townsend has called up one uncapped forward and one back for the tournament as the side looks to improve on their fourth-place finish in 2024.

The Saracens fly-half is one of two uncapped players in the 37-man Scotland squad which was announced on Wednesday afternoon. The other new boy is Jack Mann, the 25-year-old Glasgow Warriors back-rower who came through a torrid time with injuries to impress this season for Franco Smith’s side.

Glasgow Warriors centre Sione Tuipulotu will again captain the side for the games against Italy, Ireland, England, Wales and France.
