The Philadelphia 76ers suffered their first loss in free agency when Guerschon Yabusele left to join the New York Knicks. After five seasons overseas, Yabusele returned to the NBA and averaged 11.0 points,

Yabusele, who agreed to a two-year deal with the Knicks, said leaving the Sixers was "not a major key," but their offer didn't compare to New York's.

Yabusele thought that the Sixers undervalued him by making him an offer that didn’t reflect his performances. He 11.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 7.1 minutes over 2024-25.
