DETROIT – The investigation into the human remains found buried in the yard of a vacant rental home on Detroit’s west side continues. The shocking discovery was made Monday at a home on the corner of Woodingham and St. Martins.

Police said human remains were discovered Monday at a home on Detroit's west side. A construction crew was working at the home in the 19700 block of Woodingham Drive, near Outer Drive, just off Livernois, at about 1 p.m. when they found what they believed to be partially buried, partially decomposed human remains in the backyard.
