A Minnesota Kwik Trip employee was stabbed to death while at work early Tuesday morning by a known customer, authorities say. The Mankato Police Department said in a statement Tuesday that 34-year-old Dennis Vosika of Mankato was found unresponsive with multiple stab wounds when authorities arrived after 3 a.

A 28-year-old Mankato man is accused of stabbing a worker 43 times at a Mankato Kwik Trip on Tuesday, according to charges filed in Blue Earth County Court.

Dennis Vosika, 34, of Mankato, was found lying unresponsive on the floor when police officers, responding to a disturbance at the store, arrived at the Kwik Trip shortly after 3 a.m. Vosika died of multiple stab wounds at the Mankato hospital, authorities said.
