A Minnesota Kwik Trip employee was stabbed to death while at work early Tuesday morning by a known customer, authorities say. The Mankato Police Department said in a statement Tuesday that 34-year-old Dennis Vosika of Mankato was found unresponsive with multiple stab wounds when authorities arrived after 3 a.

Dennis Vosika, 34, of Mankato, was found lying unresponsive on the floor when police officers, responding to a disturbance at the store, arrived at the Kwik Trip shortly after 3 a.m. Vosika died of multiple stab wounds at the Mankato hospital, authorities said.

The Kwik Trip worker fatally stabbed during an incident in Mankato early Tuesday morning has been identified. Mankato Police Department says Dennis Vosika, 34, of Mankato, was stabbed multiple times at the 1549 Madison Avenue around 3 a.m. He was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System, where he was pronounced dead.
