It’s a new year, and all babies born from Jan. 1 on are part of the youngest generation, dubbed Generation Beta. According to research firm McCrindle, Generation Beta is defined as people born from 2025 to 2039, and by the end of that time they’ll make up 16% of the world population.

(CNN)– Babies born in 2025 will be the first of a new generation, Generation Beta. Members of Gen Beta will be born between the years 2025 and 2039, according to Australian Social Researcher Mark McCrindle. McCrindle says Gen Beta will experience artificial intelligence and automation in every aspect of life, more so than previous generations.

They will only know a post-COVID world. They'll roll their eyes at old-fashioned slang like "rizz." They'll ask us to switch off the oldies when we try to play Taylor Swift in the car. Generation Beta is officially here.
