Washington Capitals to place former Fighting Hawk T.J. Oshie on LTIR
The Washington Capitals will place former North Dakota forward T.J. Oshie on long-term injured reserve, it was announced Wednesday. Oshie, who suited up for the Fighting Hawks between 2005-2008, appeared in 52 regular season games for Washington last season where he scored 12 goals and added 13 assists for 25 points.
