Mike Vrabel’s team has yet to drop a game away from Gillette Stadium, and New England has notched wins over 2024 division winners Buffalo and Tampa Bay on the road. At his locker on Wednesday afternoon, Stefon Diggs detailed what he believes the keys have been to New England’s road warrior mentality.

Brown joined the Patriots’ staff in January after he quickly rose up the coaching ranks with the Chicago Bears. Brown was named the interim coach for Chicago’s final five games in 2024 after the team fired Matt Eberflus. The Bears went 1-4 during that stretch.

Brandin Cooks has been released by the New Orleans Saints, according to multiple reports. It was a mutual parting for the well-traveled receiver, who was granted his release on Nov. 19. Cooks now heads to waivers and, if he clears, will be able to sign with any team.

Saunders was initially cut by the Patriots to make room for tight end C.J. Dippre, who signed to the 53-man roster on Monday. Patriots tight end Austin Hooper went into concussion protocol last week, and the team is looking to add an extra layer of depth at the tight end position.

FOXBOROUGH — The Patriots got some good injury news on Wednesday, as running back Rhamondre Stevenson, wide receiver Kayshon Boutte, and linebacker Christian Elliss were among those at practice.

This season, Diggs leads the Patriots in receptions (59) and receiving yards (659). He’s been extremely sure-handed, catching 81.9% of his targets. He entered this week ranked 10th in the NFL in receptions.

The irony, of course, is that the 2018 Patriots team beat McVay in his first trip to the Super Bowl as head coach of the Rams. Oddly enough, that Patriots team dominated McVay's Rams in the Super Bowl not because of the offense but because of the defense.
