At least six Waymo self-driving cars have been damaged by the violence taking place in Los Angeles in recent days amid protests against federal immigration raids, according to a representative for the company.

Driverless taxi company Waymo suspended service in downtown Los Angeles after at least five of its vehicles were set on fire during protests in the area.

As Los Angeles ICE protests escalated over the weekend, Waymo's self-driving vehicles took the brunt of the damage.
