Two people were arrested in connection with a shooting that happened at Collins Lake in Northern California over the weekend, officials said Tuesday.
July 16, 2025 – Marysville, CA – Yuba County Sheriff's Department officials report investigators from the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office have swiftly apprehended two individuals connected to the shooting incident at Collins Lake Campground this past Sunday evening.
A shooting at Collins Lake in Yuba County left one person injured; the incident is under investigation, with the community urged to provide information.
Marysville Fire initially started 11:24 a.m. June 29 in Yuba County, California. Since its discovery four days ago, it has burned 20 acres. By Thursday evening, the fire crew succeeded in containing 95% of the wildfire. The blaze's cause remains under investigation.
