Federal authorities on Sunday were investigating the fiery crash of a small plane into a suburban Minneapolis home that killed all aboard and engulfed the house in flames.

A plane that departed from Des Moines International Airport crashed on its way to an airport north of Minneapolis Saturday afternoon. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed in a statement to the Des Moines Register that the plane departed from the Des Moines International Airport.

The plane departed Naples Municipal Airport March 29 and flew to Des Moines. It left Iowa and crashed in Minnesota.

No one in the house was injured after the plane crashed in Brooklyn Park, Minn., a suburb of Minneapolis, officials said.
