The classic Burger King Whopper uses a single, quarter pound patty. That makes a Double Whopper a half pound of meat (before cooking) which is a pretty meaty sandwich.

It features A.1. sauce, crispy onions, smoky bacon, Swiss cheese, creamy peppercorn aioli, lettuce, and tomato, all layered on Burger King’s signature flame-grilled beef patty.

This version was called the Bacon Jam Brisket Whopper, and had "a smoky, sweet bacon jam" in place of the BBQ sauce. One X user tried the original iteration and was not impressed.

The Whopper Melts, on the other hand, return to the Burger King in three different flavors, including Shroom n’ Swiss, Bacon Melt and Classic Melt.
