With more countries than ever before keen to host an F1 race, two traditional races will take place once every two years
Formula One Management has been looking at getting long-standing races held in Europe to enter into rotation deals for a while
The Circuit de Catalunya has signed a new contract which will allow it to host Formula 1 races until 2032 albeit on a rotational deal with Spa-Francorchamps.
Barcelona will carry on staging Formula 1 races for another six years after an agreement was made for it to alternate with the Belgian Grand Prix. The Circuit de Catalunya has been replaced by Madrid as host of the Spanish Grand Prix this year but will continue on the calendar and become the venue for the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix in June.
Six sprint races will be held in the 2026 season, hosted by China, Miami, Montreal, Silverstone, Zandvoort and Singapore.
