Napa County officials declared a local emergency on Sunday in response to the Pickett Fire. The fire has burned more than 6,800 acres and is currently 15% contained, CAL FIRE said.

Fire crews Sunday were able to keep Napa County’s Pickett Fire within its established footprint of more than 6,800 acres across mountainous terrain and strengthen and expand containment overnight, according to fire officials.
