A fishing boat sunk in the Morro Bay, California, Harbor after city efforts to get the derelict vessel repaired. Divers worked to refloat the submerged craft.

An old wooden fishing boat that sank in Morro Bay Harbor in July 2021 was demolished on Friday, Nov. 12, 2021.

The Nature Conservancy bought out Morro Bay’s entire trawl fishing industry in 2006 from fishermen who were anxious to get out of a fishery that had collapsed and been declared a disaster in 2000.
