Gaza Israel has increased its air strikes on Gaza as ceasefire negotiations move forward and residents remain on high alert, fearing they could become targets in the final hours before bombing stops.

On Jan 7, Israeli military strikes killed at least 24 Palestinians across the Gaza Strip, medics said, with two air strikes hitting tent encampments in Mawasi, to the west of the southern city of Khan Younis, killing 18 people. The dead included several women and children.

At least 30 people, including children, were killed in Gaza by Israeli strikes overnight and into Friday morning, hospital Confirmed.

Negotiators said a deal between Israel and Hamas was closer than ever even as Israeli airstrikes on Gaza continued, killing at least 13.

Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip killed at least 18 people overnight, including six women and four children, health officials said Tuesday, as Israel and Hamas appeared to be narrowing in on a ceasefire deal to end the 15-month war and release dozens of hostages.
