The St. Louis Blues wrap up their two-game homestand with a matchup against the Winnipeg Jets. St. Louis enters following a 3–1 loss to Colorado on Tuesday and has five games remaining as they push toward the end of the regular season.

An April matchup between the Blues and Jets a year ago meant an entirely different thing. The Blues are now six points back of Nashville for a playoff spot with five games remaining. The Blues (78 points in 76 games) are trying to chase down the Predators (81 in 76 GP), Kings (81 in 76 GP) and Sharks (79 in 75 GP).

The second-place squad in the Eastern Conference, the Buffalo Sabres (48-23-8), host the ninth-ranked Columbus Blue Jackets (39-27-12) at KeyBank Center on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET. Buffalo won 5-3 on the road its last time out on April 8 against the New York Rangers.
