CHICAGO (CBS) — Two women were shot while standing outside early Friday morning in the Kenwood neighborhood. The shooting happened just before 5 a.m. in the 900 block of East 45th Street.

Two 34-year-old women were wounded early Friday morning in a shooting on the South Side in the Kenwood neighborhood, Chicago police said. Shortly before 6:45 a.m., the women were standing near the street in the 900 block of East 45th Street when a dark-colored vehicle approached and two males exited and opened fire in the women’s direction,

Two women, both 34 years old, were wounded in a drive-by shooting in the Kenwood neighborhood of Chicago when two men exited a dark-colored vehicle and fired shots at them, resulting in one gunshot wound to the shoulder and the other to the flank.
