WISTER -- State park officials say the Victor Area campground at Wister Lake State Park will be closed throughout the 2008 camping season because of flooding.

Lake Wister is a reservoir created by the Poteau River and Fourche Maline Creek. It is part of Lake Wister State Park and is named after the nearby city of Wister.
