LISBON, Maine (WMTW) - The Lisbon School Department has decided not to renew the contract of Lisbon High School’s head football coach after hazing allegations disrupted the 2024 season.
The superintendent suspended the boys hockey team to investigate an alleged bullying incident involving the co-op team.
Lisbon forfeited its final four games of the season. High school varsity teams that don’t complete a season face a two-year ban from competition, according to Maine Principals’ Association rules.
