A South Bay company that has become America’s largest Indian theater, Naatak now celebrates its 100th production, “Ramayan,” adapted from the Indian epic of the same name.

This was another factor that amplified Ramayan’s unique impact, given that its viewership, too, was “unprecedented in India”, with an estimated 80 million people tuning in to watch each episode.

The Ramayan—an epic that chronicles the divine journey of Lord Rama, his battle against evil, and his unwavering commitment to righteousness—has stood the test of time for thousands of years.
