Pelicans' Williamson, McCollum out for remainder of NBA season
The New Orleans Pelicans, out of NBA playoff contention, are shutting down Zion Williamson and CJ McCollum for the rest of the regular season, the team said on Monday.But with seven games left in the regular season the Pelicans are next to last in the Western Conference.

McCollum was diagnosed with a right foot bone contusion after sustaining the injury against the Detroit Pistons on March 23. Neither player has played since the injuries. Pelicans' coach Willie Green was asked last week if Williamson would possibly be shut down for the rest of the season.
The New Orleans Pelicans have not had the greatest season as they are currently 21-54 amid the final regular-season stretch.
