Poetry in emotion reveals brand loyalties. An advertisement from insurance company AAMI caused consumer concerns over the brand’s use of Dorothea Mackellar’s iconic poem, My Country.

Mackellar was only 19 when she penned the poem ‘My Country’ in England in 1904. She was dreaming of life back in Australia, where she lived through the Federation Drought.
