Cherry blossom season is in full swing in Washington, D.C., where pink and white flowers can be seen on thousands of trees in peak bloom.

The Cherry blossom tree grove at Cincinnati's Ault Park is now in bloom. Peak bloom time is estimated to be through the end of March. Bloom time lasts about a week. The trees feature pink and white cascading flowers creating a beautiful view for parkgoers.

The peak occurred several days earlier than the long-term average, as human-caused climate warming hastens the onset of spring flowering.
