Xavier Worthy was released after a district attorney in Texas declined to pursue charges against the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver following an arrest in which he had been accused of felony domestic violence.

The Chiefs wide receiver was arrested in Williamson County, Texas, on a charge of assault of a family or household member and impeding breathing or circulation.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office arrested former Texas football star and Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy and booked him in the Williamson County Jail on Friday, according to publicly available jail records.
