Coldplay will hold concerts in Mumbai and Ahmedabad in January. The administration has notified the music group ahead of Chris Martin’s band performance in Gujarat “not to use children in any form on stage,” reported ANI.

The action followed a petition filed on January 2 by Prof Punditrao Dharenavar, an assistant professor of Sociology at Government College, Sector 46 Chandigarh.

Coldplay is all set to perform in India. Days before their Ahmedabad concert, a legal notice has been issued to the singer Chris Martin and the organisers of the concert. The British boy band are scheduled to perform in Mumbai and Ahmedabad as part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour.

The Unit has highlighted that sound levels exceeding 120 decibels during the concert could pose significant risks to children's health
