In this case, winter weather could be bringing dangerous conditions to our area. Make sure to have a way of being alerted in the event a warning is issued for your location.

We may end up with highs in the 70s by early February! Rain chances next week: We should dry out Monday afternoon with dry weather continuing into Tuesday. Our next chance to see scattered showers will likely occur Wednesday as a weak disturbance pushes through Alabama.

Temperatures on Sunday will be slightly cooler thanks to that passage, but otherwise not too terrible. In other good news, the Climate Prediction Center’s 6-10 day outlook has the area under a 60% chance of seeing above normal temperatures this final week of January and into the beginning of February.
