Grayson Waller gave up his match on Raw to Austin Theory, leading to his teammate taking a beatdown from a returning Sheamus. This was a solid go-home show, setting the stage for Backlash and furthering more of Raw's key angles.

The go-home edition of Raw of Backlash was far more interesting than the recent editions of the show right before a Premium Live Event. There was a banger match between Iyo Sky and Roxanne Perez, plus some intriguing angles featuring Rusev and Karrion Kross.
