Major League Baseball's 2025 Draft has officially wrapped. The draft kicked off Sunday night as the Washington Nationals took high school shortstop Eli Willits with the first of 615 picks that were made by Monday evening.

It's that awkward time of year again when college baseball coaches must wait a week or two to find out who will be on their rosters, thanks to the timing of the MLB Draft. For Texas A&M coach Michael Earley, entering a season with a razor-thin margin for error means he needs every player possible to field a competitive team next year.

The 30 Major League teams chose 510 players in 17 rounds on Monday to conclude the 2025 draft. The 36 players picked on Monday joined five selected in the first three rounds on Sunday as the prospects with Alabama baseball roots among this year’s choices.
