UFC legend Nate Diaz is still holding out hope that he and Conor McGregor will be able to complete their trilogy.

McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) is yet to compete since breaking his leg in a TKO loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021. He had re-entered the UFC drug-testing pool to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in June 2024 but withdrew from the fight a month away after breaking his pinky toe.

Conor McGregor has taken a huge step towards making his long-awaited UFC return as he sets his sights on a fight at the White House. McGregor has not competed in the UFC since losing back-to-back bouts to Dustin Poirer in 2021, with an anticipated return against Michael Chandler last year falling apart at short notice due to injury.
