An escaped Alabama inmate and his alleged accomplice were arrested Sunday in Melissa after a suspect’s vehicle was spotted in a Buc-ee’s parking lot, officials said. Shortly after 1:45 p.m., Melissa officers were alerted that an escaped inmate may be in their jurisdiction.

Buc-ee's might be a safe haven for travelers across the country, but not for everybody. A police incident at a North Texas Buc-ee's saw officials apprehend an individual who was not the beaver-branded company's target audience.
