An explosion at a Texas natural gas or oil well site set off a large fire that was seen for miles and led to some evacuations, but caused no injuries, authorities said Tuesday.

An oil well explosion in Etoile prompted evacuations and road closures as officials manage the ongoing threat, according to the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office.

Residents living nearby reported that the explosion shook their houses.
