National Guard troops arrived in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday morning following a couple of days marked by violent clashes between law enforcement officers and protesters over President Trump's immigration enforcement operations conducted in the area.

President Donald Trump signaled on Sunday afternoon that National Guard members will be “everywhere” in Los Angeles in order to quell the violent protests that have entered their third day. “Well, we’re going to have troops everywhere.

There were tense scenes in Los Angeles after President Trump deployed 2,000 National Guard troops to the city as fiery protests against federal immigration raids flared for a third day in California.
