GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, Ariz. -- Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs toured the destruction left by a wildfire along the Grand Canyon's North Rim, on Saturday, surveying what she described as devastating damage.

Near the North Rim fire scene on July 19 Gov. Katie Hobbs said repeatedly she was not second-guessing the response.

PHOENIX — The historic Grand Canyon Lodge on the North Rim was consumed by a wildfire , Grand Canyon National Park officials said on July 13, as the roaring blazes have prompted evacuations and air quality concerns in the area.
