The Trump administration has renamed the U.S. Institute of Peace after President Donald Trump and planted the president’s name on the organization’s headquarters despite an ongoing fight over the institute’s control.

The pardon of Hernandez is one of dozens issued by the US president over the past year to an array of convicted fraudsters, drug traffickers, tax evaders and unregistered foreign agents that have upended the American justice system and angered many within his own coalition.

Judge Sparkle L. Sooknanan stopped short of ordering the shuttering of the detention operation. But a lawyer for the challengers said they would soon seek a closure order.

The Justice Department announced on Tuesday the arrest of an Afghan national accused of making bomb threats against Americans during a video chat posted online.
