Wednesday at the Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, the turf field is covered with hardwood courts. For the first time ever, the Dallas Open is moving from SMU to Frisco, bringing world-class tennis to one of the fastest-growing cities in the country.
The center will be one of just a couple of dozen such facilities across the U.S. It comes as the industry is facing a growing need for trained technicians.
