Matheson scored a goal on three shots, dished an assist, added two PIM, logged two hits and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 5-3 win over Utah.

After benefitting early from a flurry of Montreal penalties, Utah was up 2-1 going into the second period, but it wouldn't last. Utah would be outscored 4-1 the rest of the game as Montreal took advantage of Utah's slow defensive rotations along with many opportunities in transition.
