Sony has announced that PlayStation Plus subscribers will stop getting free monthly PS4 games starting in 2026, as the company shifts focus to PS5 owners. However, Sony acknowledges that subscribers may still occasionally receive PS4 games through PS Plus Monthly Games and Game Catalog after the change.
Kenichiro Yoshida, who has led Sony since 2018, will be succeeded as chief executive by the company’s chief financial officer.
