The irony of it all? In a new clip from Hard Knocks, Jackson actually wanted the Ravens to practice in the cold leading up to their matchup with the Bills. It was a good idea, but it clearly didn’t help Jackson (or Andrews) much: Lamar was pushing to practice in the cold.

Lamar Jackson acted like a true leader at a low point for his team. Jackson and the Ravens lost a heartbreaker to the Bills in the AFC divisional round on Sunday after Mark Andrews dropped what would have been a game-tying catch on a two-point conversion late in the fourth quarter.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson had a heartbreaking reaction to losing 27-25 against the Bills in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

After Andrews dropped a two-point conversion that would have tied the AFC divisional round game against Buffalo, Jackson showed support for his star teammate.

Josh Allen took a final kneel to give the Buffalo Bills a 27-25 playoff victory, pumped his fist and immediately jogged toward the sideline. The Baltimore Ravens sideline. Allen sought out Lamar Jackson. The Bills quarterback still had the football in his hands when he gave Jackson a postgame handshake and hug before celebrating with his teammates.

Buffalo edged Baltimore, 27-25, after the Ravens’ Mark Andrews dropped what would have been a tying two-point conversion pass in the final minutes.

The Buffalo Bills and superstar quarterback Josh Allen were able to punch their ticket to the AFC championship with a 27-25 win over the Baltimore Ravens. Allen faced off head-to-head with Lamar Jackson in the battle of the front-runners for the NFL MVP award. Thankfully, Allen and the Bills came out on top.

Last year, the Ravens lost after Zay Flowers fumbled the ball on the goal line. This year, Flowers was out with injury and the two tight ends carried the load for the passing game. But Andrews' mistakes will be the lasting memory of this game.
