Baking season is in full swing, and one key ingredient for many recipes is butter. But if you’ve stocked up recently on multiple packs for cakes, pies, and cookies, you might want to double-check your fridge.

The recall was initiated by the makers of Kirkland-brand butter last month, after it was determined that some of the packaging may be missing required language.

Costco is subject to a recall on 79,200 pounds of Kirkland Signature Sweet Cream Butter. According to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), packages of salted and unsalted butter are missing the required allergy statement “Contains Milk” on the packaging.
