"I’m listening to the critics," the NBA commissioner said ahead of competition committee and general managers meetings next week.

Nearly 16,000 fans packed Paris’ Accor Arena on two separate occasions last week to watch the Spurs face Indiana, almost all of them there to root on local hero Victor Wembanyama. One of Wembanyama’s biggest fans flew all the way from New York to catch the spectacle created by the Spurs star’s first NBA games on French soil.

Ahead of the NBA Paris Game, commissioner Adam Silver hinted at the possibility of league expansion to Europe in the form of its own league.

It's been more than two decades since the last NBA expansion. In 2004, the league added the Charlotte Bobcats, a team that rebranded as the Charlotte Hornets.

There are potentially some adjustments we can make," Silver said ahead of the 2025 NBA Paris Games this week, responding to the growing critique of perimeter shooting. The rise of the 3-pointer has undeniably brought more scoring.
