John Stamos is joking he nearly nabbed the role of the Grinch in the 2000 film, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," which ultimately went to Jim Carrey. Stamos says he was allergic to the prosthetics.

“The [Grinch] makeup was like being buried alive every day,” Carrey explained on The Graham Norton Show in 2014, revealing he had to endure the iconic green makeup “100 times” while filming.
