The Eaton fire, affecting areas in Pasadena, Altadena, Sierra Madre and La Cañada Flintridge, has burned more than 14,117 acres and is 35% contained as of Tuesday morning. Fire officials report that more than 7,000 buildings have been damaged by the fire.

A new wildfire was reported today at 8:23 a.m. in Los Angeles County. The wildfire has been burning on private land. There is currently no information on the containment of the fire and its cause has yet to be determined.

The Eaton Fire is almost completely contained in the Altadena area northeast of Los Angeles. On the LA County coast, the Palisades Fire is over three-fourths contained. The Hughes Fire, which broke out in the Lake Castaic area Wednesday north of Los Angeles, is over 50% contained.
